No suits & ties. Stupid website. Real low fees. Great legal rep.
A different kind of music law firm.
Our clients love us. Why spend $250 an hour on a typical stuffed-shirt lawyer
with a Park Avenue office and a stick up his ass?
We know that young musicians and new
businesspeople can't afford to blow their limited funds on a lawyer. Not
when there are videos to shoot, equipment to buy, merch to produce, and parties to throw.
That's why our fees are about 70-80% lower than the average at only $79 per
hour. With us you get the same experience and better service without any
pretense. And no anal issues.
When do you need a lawyer?
A lot of young musicians and new indy labels ask us whether they need a lawyer, and if so, when should
they start thinking about it?
The answer is simple.
You should hire a
lawyer (us of course) as soon as you are presented with a contract to sign, or when you need to have
one written to protect yourself. Of course, you could always do it yourself and worry about the
consequences later. History is littered with talented artists who got
screwed big time because they weren't careful when signing their first deal.
However, now that legal help through us is affordable, there's no reason not
to do the right thing. Just ask your momma.
What we can do for you.
We are a full service law firm with a concentration in music law and the music
industry in general. We work with bands, solo artists, producers,
managers, labels, and musicians and songwriters in all genres. Sorry, we don't
work with evil-doers.
We can help you
with negotiating and drafting contracts and deals involving:
- publishing
- recording
- producing
- managing
- investing
- partnerships
- employment
|
- merchandising
- licensing
- copyrights
- trademarks
- corporations
- business startups
